Cylinder Body Production Data
Read production data from the cylinder body itself rather than from the knob.
Overview
The DOMController collects production data from the device knob. The body of a cylinder can be replaced during the life of an installation, which leaves that collected data describing hardware that is no longer in place. The controller can now interrogate the device for the production data held by the body itself, so the recorded information reflects the hardware actually installed.
The body data is collected at coupling and on a full reprogramming action, the two moments where the controller already establishes a complete picture of the device.
Available since: Version 26.02 (June 2026 · API v34)
How to Use
The collection is automatic — no configuration is required. To refresh the body data of a device whose cylinder body was replaced after coupling, run a full reprogramming action on that device.
Use Cases
- Maintenance tracking — know which cylinder body is actually installed after a hardware swap
- Support diagnosis — rule out a mismatch between recorded and installed hardware
