Door Abstraction

Create a door without a coupled device and preconfigure it.

Overview

A door can now be created without a coupled device, and preconfigured ahead of time. Once a device is assigned to the door, it automatically receives that configuration. This allows preparing a whole system before physically coupling devices on site.

Use Cases

  • Preparing a site's full door configuration in the office before the on-site coupling visit
  • Replacing a device on an existing door without re-entering its configuration
