Fast Online Synchronization
Dramatically reduce synchronization time of online devices from 15 minutes to 10 seconds.
Overview
Fast Online Synchronization is a performance optimization feature that reduces the synchronization time of online devices from the traditional 15 minutes to just 10 seconds. This enables near-instant propagation of configuration changes and access rights updates to connected devices.
Available since: Version 23.03 (March 2023)
How to Use
Prerequisites
- DOMController with API v23 or later
- Online devices (RFNM, ACM with network connectivity)
- Optimized Access Control Software implementation recommended
Configuration Steps
- Enable Fast Online Synchronization
Configure the global parameter via API:
- Verify Configuration
Check the current sync interval:
GET /api/global-conf
Response:
{
"fast_online_sync": true,
"sync_interval_seconds": 10 // Changed from 900
}
- Monitor Synchronization
Track sync events via logs or API:
GET /api/devices/{device_id}/last-sync
Response:
{
"last_sync_timestamp": "2025-02-18T10:30:05Z",
"sync_duration_ms": 340,
"items_synchronized": 15
}
