.NET 8 Migration

Migration from .NET 6 to .NET 8, completed after a data-corruption issue on ARM architectures.

Overview

The DOMController's Windows-side services were migrated from .NET 6 to .NET 8. The migration first shipped in 25.02, where installing .NET 8 triggered data corruption in the services on ARM architectures (standard DOMController). The migration was completed and the issue resolved in 25.03.

Available since: Version 25.02 (June 2025) — issue fixed in Version 25.03 (October 2025)
